Signs of a bad web developer:

• Poor Communication
• No education/lack of experience
• No portfolio
• Terms are not agreed to, or there are no terms to sign.
• Developer does not give you feedback.
• Your email, messages and calls are not returned.
• You are not given an adequate breakdown of the work to be done.
• Your questions are avoided or unanswered.
• They do not appear to have sound knowledge of web development.
• They have no understanding of SEO.
• The developer has no clue how to integrate Google Analytics
• They suggest that you include a visitor counter on your site.
• The developer wants to place a “Designed By ….” Plug on your site
• They won’t give you the credentials to your own site
• They have formal training in design, but claim they can develop too…
• If you feel uneasy about the web developer’s ability.
