Signs of a bad web developer:
- Poor Communication
- No education/lack of experience
- No portfolio
- Terms are not agreed to, or there are no terms to sign.
- Developer does not give you feedback.
- Your email, messages and calls are not returned.
- You are not given an adequate breakdown of the work to be done.
- Your questions are avoided or unanswered.
- They do not appear to have sound knowledge of web development.
- They have no understanding of SEO.
- The developer has no clue how to integrate Google Analytics
- They suggest that you include a visitor counter on your site.
- The developer wants to place a “Designed By ….” Plug on your site
- They won’t give you the credentials to your own site
- They have formal training in design, but claim they can develop too…
- If you feel uneasy about the web developer’s ability.
